Department of Internal Affair

o Areas of Responsibility
The Department of Internal Affairs is divided into two sections; each handles the following matters:
  • General Security Section:
      Affairs pertinent to organizational establishment and staffing of internal affair agencies.
      Recommendations on appointment/dismissal, promotion/transfer, training and education, evaluation and award/disciplinary action and human resource management.
      Affairs pertinent to formulation of annual internal affairs work proposal and budget preparation.
      Affairs pertinent to planning of internal affairs supervision and inspection, as well as secretary work.
      Affairs pertinent to supervision of internal affairs of the Administration’s agencies.
      Affairs pertinent to formulation of government secret protection regulations, education of government secret protection regulations and procedures.
      Affairs pertinent to promotion of information confidentiality protection.
      Affairs pertinent to investigation of cases involving unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
      Affairs pertinent to prevention of incidents that threaten to damage the agency.
      Affairs pertinent to provision of assistance in dealing with petitions and grievances.
      Other affairs pertinent to government secret protection, facility security maintenance and general administrative affairs of the Department.
      Affairs pertinent to tasks assigned by the Minister.
       
  • Prevention and Investigation Section:
      Affairs pertinent to formulation of government integrity rectification and anti-corruption task implementation proposals.
      Affairs pertinent to formulation and revision of internal affairs regulations, formulation of internal affairs task manual, and education of internal affairs regulations.
      Affairs pertinent to government integrity award and campaign.
      Affairs pertinent to evaluation of corruption-prone operations, coordination and formulation of anti-corruption procedures, and follow-up control of implementation of anti-corruption procedures.
      Affairs pertinent to supervision and monitoring of corruption-prone operations and major procurement cases.
      Affairs pertinent to investigation of units noted for abnormal operations and staffs noted for irregular life routines.
      Affairs pertinent to collection and processing internal affairs complaints.
      Affairs pertinent to collection of responses of the general public to the administration and study and proposal of government integrity improvement recommendations.
      Affairs pertinent to investigation and analysis the agency’s internal affairs and formulation of improvement measures.
      Affairs pertinent to internal affairs supervision and evaluation and recommendations on awards and disciplinary actions.
      Affairs pertinent to processing asset declaration of government workers, inquiry and review.
      Affairs pertinent to legal education/workshop of the Administration.
      Other affairs pertinent to corruption prevention and investigation.
