TO PROTECT FISHING RIGHTS OF TAIWAN’S FISHERMEN, MAINLAND CHINA BOATS WERE ARRESTED BY TAIWAN COAST GUARD FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION FROM WUCHIOU

Taiwan Coast Guard Administration (CGA) has carried out an “joint-defenced task”, which deployed 2 patrol vessels and 43 persons for two-days long, to crack down on the transboundry boats which illegally operate or stranded in the forbidden or restricted waters of Taiwan.In total,1 mainland china boats has been detained.
The CGA Not only deployed 2 vessels from Central Sector Flotilla but also the patrol boats from Offshore flotilla 3 into this action .In the meantime Captain Ou-lingjia were served as the Commander of this action.
At 05:40 in March 20, a transboundry china boat which were placing the crab cages was areested about 0.8 miles offshore from southeast of Dachiou by the CGA because of illegal fishing according to violation of related laws of Taiwan.
In order to make people feel more effective of law enforcement. CGA uses the advantages of CGA energy, flexible deployment of vessels and boats to highlight the determinations of government of environments protection, the maintenance of marine resources and the protection of fishermen's rights and interests.
