Coast Guard Administration to protect valuable ocean resources , marine living and non- living resources , especially at 09 to 11a.m. on July 16,hosted the nation clean beach activities (Guardian sustain in conjunction with the relevant units ( guardian sustainable use project ), through the diffirent departments , social education institutions , village cleaning teams and the people actually involved, arousing public attention to consevation . Activities of the day were total up to 16 times , respectively, in Taoyuan City Park Marina Recreation Area ( Chuwei fishing port south coast ) , Taichung Daan beach , Tainan City View Xi platform Beach and Hualien County Chishingtan beach and other places to expand net organized beach activities , Coast Guard Director Mr.Li Zhongwei personally presided over the northern part of events , arrangements marine conservation, ecology , environmental policy and the honest advocacy on scene.Besides,Mr.Lee was hand in hand with environmental groups and volunteers cleaned beach together , and the first time to dispose the water and underwater garbage. Director Lee awarded participants with appreciation after the event.
The national synchronized cleaning beach activities , mobilized total of 5 thousand nine hundred people, 4,000 cleared Driftwood 7 hundred , one thousand PET bottles 9 hundred and general waste and other garbage totaling 31 thousand kg. Coast guard Administration said CGA will continue conduct doing the environmental and conservation work with the relevant environmental groups , always stand on front.
