B.Handling
(1)Director's Email
In order to enable public opinions to directly reach the head of the organization, Director's Email (chiefmail@cga.gov.tw)has been set up in the homepage of the Fleet Branch for this purpose. In addition, we also put into place a public opinion mailbox which deals with public opinions regardless they are administrative recommendations, enquires on laws and regulations, impeaching administrative irregularities or protection of administrative rights. We will transfer the opinions to the units concerned and respond to the opinions by telephone, in writing or email.
(2)Handling of Public Complaint
In order to strengthen the service and effectively handle the petition, the Directorate promulgated the "Directions Governing the Handling of Petition by the Fleet Branch, Ocean AffairsCouncil -Costal Guard Administration, Executive Yuan" pursuant to Paragraph 1 of Article 170 of the Administrative Procedure Law and the Points Governing the Handling of Petition by Coast Guard Administration.
The so-called petition refers to the recommendation on administration, administration laws and regulation enquiry or protection of administrative rights by people, which is made in writing (including letter, e-mail and facsimile) or verbally to the Fleet Branch as well as its subordinate units. The above written statement shall substantially specify facts, name, national ID No. or any other identification document No. and contact means. We will finalize the petition within 30 days and send written notice to the petitioner. In the event that the petition is not finalized within the stipulated period, we will serve written notice to the petitioner which provides the reason for such delay.
